The JourneyIn this work, I depict an African woman holding a baby elk—an unexpected combination that symbolizes the merging of two contrasting worlds. The African woman represents the origin of humanity and traditional craftsmanship, while the elk, native to Northern Europe, refers to the curiosity of the Vikings.
This work reflects my personal journey as an artist, where I combine traditional painting techniques with AI in the creative process. For me, this fusion reflects how tradition and innovation can coexist and enhance each other. By weaving AI into a fully painted piece, I aim to show that technology can complement timeless methods without replacing them. It’s about finding balance between progress and heritage. The nomadic fabrics and patterns represent movement, growth, and the journey of discovery—a continuous search for new ideas, cloaked in a traditional mantle. With this work, I hope to encourage people to embrace change. Progress may feel uncomfortable, but it is an essential part of how we evolve as individuals and as a society. € 3750,00
