My deep fascination with nature and animals drives me to create worlds where humans and animals connect in magical ways. I use a variety of mediums, including artificial intelligence, digital drawing and traditional painting, often in combination to create innovative and unique pieces.
Thanks to my background – studying at SintLucas and the Amsterdam Fashion Institute, and a childhood surrounded by art and science – I am interested in both the creative and the technical sides of art. While travelling in Oceania I developed a deep appreciation for nomadic prints, which have become a significant influence on my work. Before creating any piece, I dive into researching shapes, structures, colours, materials, and various plant and animal species. My work celebrates the beauty and complexity of life by merging specialised techniques with heartfelt storytelling. Offering a sanctuary from the harshness of reality, I invite the viewer to focus on the softer, more enchanting aspects of our existence. |
